KGT Kamathi GlobeISS Technologies Limited

We're building the digital infrastructure that will power Africa's next economy.

KGT finds opportunity by identifying friction in African markets and building the products that remove it.

The thesis

Friction is opportunity.

Africa's growth is not held back by demand. It is held back by the cost of doing ordinary things: moving money, pricing risk, proving who you are. Each of those frictions is a tax on everyone in the market, and each one is a product waiting to be built.

Friction we identified
What we built
Status
Africans have no way to price or hedge the local risks that shape their finances
NdioLa. Market infrastructure that lets Africans price and hedge local risk. A currency move, a rate decision, a fuel review, a rainfall season. Each becomes a leverageable prospect rather than just an unknown.
Operating
More frictions have been named than there are products answering them
In build. A second product is under way against a friction the group has already named. It is not described here and carries no date. The row stays open so the ledger shows the work as well as the results.

Current portfolio

One product in market.

We don't build single applications that do everything. KGT designs for results against a specific friction.

NdioLa

Market infrastructure that lets Africans price and hedge local risk.

A prediction market on questions that matter to Kenyan households and businesses: the shilling, the policy rate, the fuel review, the rainfall season. Every question has two answers, a settlement source named before it opens, and a price anyone can read as a probability. Ndio and La are the Swahili words for yes and no.

Our Growth

Kenya first. Then the region. Then the continent.

Not just a slogan. It is a sequence, each step reusing the rails proven before it.

Now

Kenya

The most developed mobile money market on the continent, and the hardest place to get payments wrong. A product that works here has already survived the demanding case.

Next

East Africa

Tanzania and the wider EAC. Shared language, shared mobile money infrastructure, and a policy environment that increasingly moves as a bloc.

After that

The continent

Markets selected on payment rail maturity and clarity of the rules, not on population alone. Entry only where the infrastructure we have already built genuinely transfers.
